Area 55+ Driver improvement courses offered

Reward deadline extended into 2011 in Achermann disappearance case

Cass County authorities and the family of Peter Achermann, age 82, a missing Staples man, are extending the time period of the reward to Sept. 1, 2011, in hopes it may lead to new clues about his disappearance.

The October schedule for Cass County Public Health's Adult Health Clinics has been announce. At the clinics, a Public Health Nurse will perform senior health screening and assessment, health history, blood pressure, blood glucose and medication management at no charge.
