Remer Chamber of Commerce has started a capital fund drive to raise funds for a community sign. The lighted LED sign, approximately 25 ft. tall, will advertise and promote community events, such as Fireman pancake breakfasts, church dinners Lion's bingo, chamber of commerce events. Northland Board hires MSBA for superintendent search

Northland Community Schools' Board of Education voted 6-1, Monday, Oct. 25, to put the district's superintendent search in the hands of the Minnesota School Board Association's (MSBA) new search service. Northland has signed-on to be the first client using MSBA's professional search service, which they began offering Oct. 1, 2010.

Longville man dies in one vehicle crash (Updated)
