Washburn Boat Parade makes a huge splash!
The 32nd Annual Fourth of July Boat Parade on Lake Washburn sailed on despite stormy forecasts, and was dedicated to Grace Schuller, who co-founded the event in 1993 with her husband, Jack.

Construction continues in Hackensack
Hackensack’s urban reconstruction project is ongoing, with work focused on the new roundabout at the intersection of Highway 371 and County Road 5, as well as continued reconstruction along Hwy. 371.
Outdoors - The Trail System
Years ago, when we first bought the farm, it was a rather wild and woolly patchwork of timber interspersed with open pasture. We ran cattle on the place and started the original trails as a means of getting from one point to another when checking the cows.
