Hackensack Lions pancake breakfast Oct. 2

   The Hackensack Lions will host their final pancake breakfast of 2022 this  Sunday, October 2 from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

   Balsam Moon Preserve of rural Pine River teams with the Minnesota Renewable Energy Society (MRES) and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) in support of the world’s largest grassroots solar event by participating in the 26th Annual National Solar Tour.

Crash claims Remer teen

   A teen died in the early morning Sunday, Sept. 18, when his car rolled over on Highway 200 in Lima Township.

Investigation results in arrest - drugs seized

   Sheriff Tom Burch reports that on September 10, 2022, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, pursuant to an investigation into the use, sales and trafficking of illegal controlled substances, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in Crow Wing County, with the assistance of the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.
