Lakeside Concert Series in Hackensack

   The Northwoods Arts Council is hosting the Lakeside Concert Series throughout the summer.

Backus American Legion monthly dances return

   Monthly Sunday dances return to the Backus American Legion July 25, when Frankie Lamb’s Frankly Country Band appears from 2 to 5 p.m. The original starting date of July 18 was postponed due to a scheduling conflict.

YAH Club cribbage/500 results

   The Longville Young At Heart Senior Club host cribbage every Wednesday at 1 p.m. The club hosts 500 on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. 

Longville Area Community Foundation awards scholarships

   Last month the Longville Area Community Foundation awarded scholarship funding to a record number of area students.
