Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid awarded funds to provide legal services for seniors

   The St. Cloud office of Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid has received a grant of Older Americans Act funds from the Central Minnesota Council on Aging to provide legal services for seniors residing in Cass County.

Outing Seniors meet April 12

   The Outing Seniors Club will meet on April 12th at 1:30 p.m. at the Crooked Lake Township Hall in Outing.

Cancer support group to meet April 21

   People who are newly diagnosed with cancer, undergoing treatment or post treatment and their significant others are invited to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Cancer Support Group which will begin meeting in person again on Thursday, April 21, from 12 to 1 p.m. in CRMC’s Clinic Conference Room.

Hackensack Lions support humanitarianism in Ukraine

The Hackensack Lions Club has donated $10,000 to the Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) for Humanitarianism in Ukraine.

Eagles place five on All-Conference teams

   While the 2021-2022 Eagles boys’ basketball season didn’t quite last as long as they had hoped, they still had a successful season that resulted in two all-Conference and three honorable mention all-conference selections.

   Bethany Lutheran Church of Remer will host a Ukrainian Relief Benefit Dinner Monday, April 4 serving from 4 to 6 p.m.

Remer Library to host Easter egg hunt

   The Remer Centennial Library is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for children of preschool through age 12 years on Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Library.
