   The Leech Lake Chamber is having their annual Spring Bike Fling on Saturday June 25th with the ride beginning in Walker and going to Hackensack and back.

Northland School Board: Superintendent and Business Manager Services Discontinued with Hill City

   After several weeks of discussion between Hill City’s school board and Northland’s school board a final agreement has been formed to discontinue sharing superintendent services between the two schools effective June 30, 2022.

MDHA Lakes and Pines chapter offers youth scholarships

   Do you have a youth age 11-16 that would like to learn more about the outdoors? The Lakes and Pines Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association is offering scholarships to Forkhorn camps scheduled at Deep Portage Conservation Reserve.

Bob Savre Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League had 39 golfers forming 10 teams show up to play the game of the day “3 Low Net Scores on Each Hole”  at Longbow Golf Club.

    Lois Anderson, age 91, of Pine River, MN, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. 

Lakeside concerts return to Hackensack
