LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

The Woodrow Township “site for a Cass County recycling area” is a great success.

Think before you litter

Last Fall my son took his Family to a public lake access in Northern Cass County

We have previously publicly acknowledged our member and non-member volunteers for their 241 hours of organized help over nine days to clear the grant-in-aid trails.

Food Share Month kicks off Feb. 27th

Longville snowmobile trails open

Mission accomplished! The storm damage repair to our trail system has been completed and we have begun our normal weekly grooming schedule for all five segments of our trail. We groom Monday through Friday to keep the trails in best the condition possible.

Longville snowmobile trails temporarily closed

Our trail system is temporarily closed! Due to the ice and snowstorm that Mother Nature has dealt us recently our trail system is a mess with downed and snow weighted trees that has left many sections impassable.

More Debate on calcium chloride

To Woodrow Township Residents via letter to the editor:  We live in a Township that has nearly 40 miles of gravel road maintained by the Township and many more miles of gravel road that the Township does not maintain.

More on calcium chloride

After reading Mr. Melby’s recent letter arguing for the use of road salt on township roads I find a response is necessary.

Debate on calcium chloride

The information presented by Gordy Reher, Road Liasion, for Woodrow Township in response to my “Calcium Chloride” is absolutely false.

Debate on calcium chloride

I have received emails and spoken comments from people in the Township about Mr. Melby’s letter in the August 23, 2022 of the Pine Cone Press-Citizen on the topic of calcium chloride.

To Woodrow Township residents

To all of the residence in Woodrow Town ship who live on, or near or use gravel roads.

Appreciate your locals and businesses

I want to acknowledge Bill Pilancinski for his letter to the editor in the July 26th issue.

Thank you, Longville

It was mid-December, 1986, and I was snowmobiling with my Maple Grove neighbor and his brother in the Longville area.
