Longville snowmobile trails open

   Mission accomplished! The storm damage repair to our trail system has been completed and we have begun our normal weekly grooming schedule for all five segments of our trail. We groom Monday through Friday to keep the trails in best the condition possible.

   This was a very overwhelming situation when we first realized the extent of the damage. But with many dedicated volunteers, club members and non-members, along with our contractors, Lott Excavating and Dylan Daudt, we were able to get it done with plenty of winter left to enjoy. 

   There was one positive that came from Mother Nature’s mess is that our club has gained several new members. New members are always welcome. Applications are available at several businesses around town or you can attend one of our monthly meetings. We meet at the Longville Fire Hall on the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Sept. through April.

   We appreciate all your help - get out and enjoy winter!
