Longville Area Women of Today host annual Cookie Walk Dec. 14
Take a delightful stroll through a magical scene where beautifully decorated tables are brimming with an array of irresistible homemade Christmas cookies and treats.
The Longville Area Women of Today (LAWOT) is excited to announce its annual Christmas Cookie Walk, set for the second Saturday in December (14th) at St. Edward’s Catholic Church from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This beloved holiday event offers the community a chance to cross “holiday baking” off their lists while supporting local causes, as all proceeds are reinvested in our community.
Local bakers are warmly invited to join in making this event a success! LAWOT is seeking volunteers to share their holiday baking talents by contributing homemade Christmas cookies and treats. Whether you specialize in traditional favorites or unique, festive creations, your contributions will help create a memorable event for the community. And with all proceeds reinvested in local initiatives, your holiday treats go beyond delicious — they make a difference. By baking for the Cookie Walk, you’ll help spread holiday cheer and support local programs that benefit our neighbors. If you are interested in baking for this fundraiser, please get in touch with Melanie Mix at 218-259-3082.
Community members attending the event can handpick their favorite cookies, put together custom trays, or purchase pre-assembled trays, making the Cookie Walk the perfect stop for holiday desserts or gifts.
Join us for a morning of festive spirit, Victorian Singers, tasty treats, and community togetherness. Let’s make this season extra special together!
