   The Longville Area Community Foundation (LACF) has launched a new and updated website.  This will enable them to communicate faster, more frequently and with lower costs.  The website will be a source of Foundation information and celebration.  Viewers can access a “News” section to learn more about grant recipients and their local projects.

   The Longville Area Community Foundation (LACF) is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization established in 1992.  The Foundation is dedicated to enriching Longville and surrounding service areas through grants to local charities and nonprofits, as well as scholarships for qualifying local college and trade school students. LACF supports services and programs that impact health and safety, educational and environmental purposes. 

   All funds raised by the LACF stay in the Longville community. Grant recipients have included the Longville Fire Department, Lake Country First Responders, the Longville Community Garden, Longville Turtle Races, Food Shelf, Snowmobile Club, Music in the Park, Camp Olson YMCA and so many more. Since 2017 LACF has distributed over $280,000 in grants.  All these recipients help make Longville a wonderful place to live, work and play.

   The Longville Area Community Foundation Funds the Future initiative culminates with a yearly fundraising event. Mark your calendars for the second annual:  The Big Party – dinner and raffles, Saturday, September 28 at Patrick’s on Girl Lake.
