In a celebration at Paws & Claws Rescue and Resort in Hackensack held last Tuesday, staff and guests celebrated the adoption of the 2000th animal to find their forever home. Chef pictured center, arrived in rough shape suffering from porcupine quills, infection and severe pain. With the help of the Paws and Claws staff, Chef was able to heal both physically and emotionally. Staff member Patty Madsen took him home just to see how he would be and Chef ended up adopting her!
