Walker Bay Theater opens “Caught in the Villain’s Web” on June 12



   Twists and turns will certainly abound when Walker Bay Theater opens their “Summer Season” with “Caught in the Villains Web”, a delightful melodrama. This production was previously performed by the Birchwood players in Walker in 1984.

   This years production will feature an 11 day run with eight scheduled performances beginning with a 3 p.m. matinee on Wednesday, June 12 and ending with a 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday, June 23. Friday and Saturday performances are set for 7 p.m.

   The production features a cast of ten local area actors and actresses and is being directed by Lori Gamache who was also was a member of the 1984 presentation. A total of six performers are Gamache family members. Other cast members hail from Park Rapids, Laporte and Walker.

   Walker Bay Theater is a 501c3, non-profit, volunteer run family based community theater, governed by an all volunteer board of directors.

   Walker Bay Theater is located at 609 Minnesota Avenue in Walker, situated on the lower level beneath the Subway Sandwich Shop and next door to Sanford Clinic.

   Ticket prices have been reduced for 2024. Adult tickets are $20, students and seniors (62) are $15. Season passes are available. Seating is on a first come-first served basis. Groups of 10 or more can make requests for reserved seating.
