John Sogge has moved from Winslow, MN to his new home on the Longville road.
The Koenig brothers are building and getting ready to start their turkey farm on Long Lake.

Charles Harder drove the mail route for Longville several days last week while Floyd Tweder spent time in Minneapolis.
Mr. and Mrx. Oldhausen and Mr. and Mrs. Springborn are among the first of our resort owners to return to prepare for a big summer business.
The Richard Carders are at home on their farm north and east of Hackensack.

Mother Nature hit the area with the coldest March in 59 years. We had a total of 41.6” of snow this winter. On April 1 Remer got ½ inches of new snow.
About 20 teenagers from Federal Dam attended a rock concert at Duluth on Sunday night. Due to the snowstorm, the Indian Club van and other cars didn’t make it home until 4:30 a.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wake left on Thursday for Washington, DC to visit their son Donald. Jim Wake is driving the school bus.

Remer/Longville students attended a job shadow experience February 9-11 at Camp Ripley near Little Falls.
Mary Welk and Kris Ganz approved a tombstone transcription project for Fairview and the First Addition cemeteries. Information will be transferred to the National Archives.
Northland Spanish Club, Rachel Welk, Tiffany Wagenback, Janessa Baker, Shelby Sandstrom and Tracy Knapp thanks everyone who supported their trip to Mexico, March 23-30.
