The Backus American Legion recently donated $2,200 to assist the Pine River-Backus school teachers efforts to ensure students have the supplies they require as this new year begins. The Legion Post recognizes all the members, patrons and staff of the Legion and Willards Saloon & Eatery that manage and participate in our charitable gaming program that funds many important requirements across the community.
