   The Bob Savre Senior Men’s League kicked off the 2023 league season on May 15 with 28 golfers forming 7 teams. All future play will be held on Tuesday’s at LongBow. 

   League results for May 15 are:

   First place team, with a 204 included: Tim Klosner, 67; Sandy Trap, 72; Jan Pyzik, 76 and Dave Klosner, 81.

   Second place ended in a tie, with a 210, between the teams of: Greig Payne, 73; Kenny Schleif, 73; Dale Hillstrom, 78 and Ernie Pulido, 78 AND Jerry Varner, 72; Blair Witt, 74; John Gagner, 78 and Bob Vaughn, 80.

   The team coming in fourth place, with a 212 included: Joe Maertens, 72; Randy Noecker, 75; Brad Duhr, 78 and Chuck Tralle, 86.

   Fifth place team, with a 213 incuded: Mike Haining, 72; Doug Hoopman, 74; Ray Zittlow, 77 and Jim Ernst, 80.

   Jim Lewis earned the low gross of the day with his 83. Low net went to Tim Klosner this week with his 95-28=67.

   Mark Nichols was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 3’ 0”, with Jim Lewis being closest to the pin on No. 17, at 7’ 9”. Chuck Tralle had the longest putt on No. 9, while Jim Lewis had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins were made by Blair Witt for a birdie and Brad Duhr for a par.
