E.H. Atwood is getting settled on his homestead on the Longville-Brevik road. The children will continue their schoolwork at Longville for the balance of the term.
E.J. Carnahan and Charles Farnsworth are building a house for Nels Hokstad near Woman Lake.
Mrs. Gus Fairbanks and son Russell left Tuesday for Bemidji where Russell will have his tonsils removed.

Harold Ringstrom and Jim O’Neal drove to Motley and Ringstrom brought home a tractor.
Robert Blais has purchased the Remer Red Owl store on April 1st. Former owners, Ted and Florence Clemons and John Anderson, are assisting the transition.
The D & M Café is reopening Friday with Miss Dorothy Jordan and Mrs. Merritt Jordan managing. Free coffee and donuts are offered.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Fairbanks and family are visiting at the Don Fairbanks home. He was recently discharged from the service and is looking for a place to locate.
The Remer OK Hardware has new siding; the Remer Plumbing & Sheet Metal has a new front; and Jerry Carpenter of the Red Owl is having a new front and canopy installed.
Guests at the Terry Johnston home Sunday honoring “Dodo” Austin on her birthday were Mr. and Mrs. Irv Schiebe and Allan.
