Sept. 29, 1921
Mr. Lilliquist and son of Balaton, MN are looking over land in northern MN and expect to locate here in Inguadona.
Miss Tillie Beck is the new teacher at the George Snell school in Inguadona.
Henry Fee and O. B. Anderson of Longville were over Thursday with two loads of potatoes which they sold to the State San for $1 a bushel.

Sept. 27, 1946
Ben Draper, the road maintenance man on No. 6 south of Remer for many years, and who also lived near the Narrows, passed away September 21st.
T. Hermes is the superintendent of Longville schools. The faculty are Mr. & Mrs. John Erickson, Mrs. Hermes, Miss Ida Erstad, Mrs. Donald Craig, and Martha Gilmore.
Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Pundsack of Milwaukee have purchased the Shell Oil Station from Kenneth Grove and will arrive in October.

Sept. 24, 1971
Ricky Sawyer went to Duluth with his hog and won a red ribbon. Sandra Sawyer took her chickens and won a blue ribbon. Both were from Blind Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Shelly Mayclin and children moved to their new home on Big Sand Lake at Remer.
Mr. and Mrs. James Pope of Hackensack are the proud parents of a baby boy, Andrew James, born Sept. 16, weighing 7 lbs. and 11 oz.

Sept. 17, 1996
Northland/Deer River Cross Country runner, Shelby Sandstrom, a 10th grader and daughter of Doug and Darlene Sandstrom, Longville, was the lead runner and earned honors.
Irvin Otto Scheibe, died September 11th. He was born February 4, 1920. He was a member of Longville VFW Post 772, Hackensack American Legion #202, Walker Masonic Lodge, Longville Lions and Backus Senior Citizens.
On August 30, 1996 the Cass County Sheriff’s Dept, along with the NET 6 Task Force, recovered and seized marijuana south of Walker that had a street value of $30,000.
