A survivor's presentation at Longville Bible Chapel
Longville Bible Chapel will host a special presentation by Ellen Eisner Wiss on Friday, October 1 beginning at 6 p.m. Wiss was born in Shanghai at the end of World War II to Jewish parents that had narrowly escaped Germany in 1939. As Europe became more dangerous for Jews in the 1930’s, China opened its doors of survival to anyone who could reach Shanghai. Learn her memories of hardship and survival her families eventual arrival in the United States.
