Summer Teddy Bear Workshops at the Longville Library
The Margaret Welch Memorial Library in Longville will be offering six teddy bear workshops for kids this summer. Reading Colors Your World is the summer theme at the library and the Longville library has lots of colorful bears to go with it. Kids may choose from the colorful Jelly Bean Bear or Patches the cute and colorful patchwork bear. The furry friends are made of the highest quality materials and have a Velcro closure on the back to keep the stuffing inside the bear. Kids are invited to join in and stuff their very own teddy bear. Kids then name their bear and receive a birth certificate and a special bag to take their bear home in.
Each child will receive a Kitchigami Regional Library t-shirt to dress their bear in too! The dates for each of the workshops are: Thurs., July 1 at 11 a.m.; Wed., July 7 at 3 p.m., Tues., July 13 at 1 p.m., Sat., July 24 at 1 p.m., Thurs., July 29 at 11 a.m. and Thurs., Aug. 8 at 1 p.m. Space is limited for each workshop, so please call 218-363-2710 and reserve your teddy bear date.
This program is sponsored by the Longville Friends of the Library through book & bake sales and the annual Fluff & Puff and is offered at no charge to the registrants.
