Longville is off to the Races......

   Well, we had our first Turtle Race of the season. Had to brush off a few cobwebs because we didn’t race turtles last year!!! But, we are back..better than ever. 

   Our turtles have been treated like royalty so they are in excellent shape and proved it yesterday. We had ties for fastest turtles and a 4 way tie for  the fastest of the fast runoff!! Can you beat that? We had 165 racers and including family accompanying each racer, maybe about 500 folks on main street. No one wanted to dance yesterday..too hot!! So, we have lots of treats for next week.
