Urologic health for men and women program offered

CROSBY - Urology health concerns become more common as you age, often interfering with your ability to pursue an active lifestyle. Here's an opportunity to learn about this topic from several experts in a comfortable setting.

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and Riverwood Healthcare Center are partnering with Adult & Pediatric Urology to sponsor a special community education program on "Urologic Health for Men and Women." The program will be held on Thurs., Sept. 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Heartwood Conference Center in Crosby.[[In-content Ad]]The keynote speaker, Dr. Mark Moyad, is a well-known urology physician who maintains a practice on complementary medicine. He will talk about fad diets and supplements, advising what really works and what is really worthless.

The program will also include a presentation by outdoorsman Ron Schara called "Fishing for Good Health," a discussion on health, wellness and an active lifestyle. Dr. Henri Lanctin, a urologist from Adult & Pediatric Urology who sees patients in Aitkin and Crosby, will give an update about urology services that can help address urologic health concerns.

There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be served. Registration is requested. To make your reservation, contact the education office for CRMC at (218) 546-2342 or [email protected], or Riverwood at (218) 927-5552 or [email protected]
