Super Saturday of family fun in Longville
The Turtle Town Cruisers Car Show, Swap Meet and Flea Market starts at 9 a.m., west of Longville Bait, near the entrance to Patrick's Fine Dining. Spectators are invited to vote for their favorite classic car or truck. Winners will be announced at 3 p.m.
From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., the Longville Lakes Arts Alliance will sponsor an Arts, Crafts and Music Fest, west of Common Grounds. The event will feature musical entertainment by Tim and Jan Marr, while artists and crafters will offer their wares for sale.
The Longville Volunteer Firefighters annual Turkey Feed begings at 11 a.m., in the Docksider parking lot. The firefighters will serve fresh off the grill turkey sandwiches with chips and pickles. Proceeds are used to purchase fire equipment.
For dessert, stroll over to the Longville Chamber of Commerce tent, also located in the Docksider parking lot, for Mary Etta's pies. At 11 a.m., chamber members will be serving a variety of pies, including, berry, cream, and specialty pies. Funds raised at the pie sale are returned to the community.
