Area adults age 60 and over have the opportunity to receive nutritious meals at a discounted rate through the Senior Nutrition Progam at selected Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Diners Club sites in the area.

For a suggested donation of $3.50 pere card, seniors can purchase LSS Diner's Club cards, which may be presented at Senior Diners Club sites, for a nutritious meal. Each selected Diners Club site offers a LSS Diner's Club menu.

Lakeland area LSS Diner's Club sites are:

Hackensack - Lucette's Pizza & Pub, open Monday-Sunday.

Longville - Carrie's Redbird Cafe and Bakery, open Monday-Saturday.

Remer - Woodsman Cafe, open Monday-Sunday.

Cards are available locally at First National Bank of Walker offices; also, Woodland Bank in Remer and Longville. To purchase the Diner's Club card, seniors must first complete a participant intake form.

The Senior Nutrition Program is a program of LSS of Minnesota and is funded under contract with the Central MN Counil on Aging with funding from the Older Americans Act through the Minnesota Board on Aging.
