Reorganization meeting held - Terry Gross to serve as Northland Board Chair
On a motion by Kitchenhoff, second by Kibbler, Terry Gross was named chairman, then replaced outgoing Chairman Bill Hansen in presiding over the meeting. Other officers include: Kitchenhoff, vice chair; Switzer, Clerk; and Boor, Treasurer.
Meetings will be the third Thursday of the month, at 7 p.m., in Remer for the most part, with the exception of one meeting in Crooked Lake (April); Federal Dam (May); Sugar Point (June); and one meeting in Longville. The Longville meeting date and location will be announced at a later date, once the board locates a meeting site.
Board expenses shall remain unchanged from the past several years. Per diem for meetings and committee meetings, $40; chairperson salary, $350 per year; clerk and treasurer salary, $300 per year each. The board will also be reimbursed for mileage, lodging and meals when called away to attend board business.[[In-content Ad]]
