Remer Chamber of Commerce has started a capital fund drive to raise funds for a community sign. The lighted LED sign, approximately 25 ft. tall, will advertise and promote community events, such as Fireman pancake breakfasts, church dinners Lion's bingo, chamber of commerce events. Lion's, school, and other events.

Funds have been received from Northland Lions, Lake Country Power Operation Round-up, Woodland Bank, businesses in the area and individuals, to get the project off its feet.

The chamber is acccepting donations from business or individuals who wish to support the sign project. Donations may be sent to: Remer Chamber of Commerce, Box 101, Remer, MN 56672.

The sign will be stationed at the west end of town by the depot.[[In-content Ad]]
