Power outage planned near Leech Lake


Lake Country Power members in the Leech Lake and surrounding areas will be without power starting 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19. The cooperative will be repairing connections in the Onigum Substation.

The outage will last 1 hour and will affect members along the south shore of Leech Lake, including Diamond Point, Breezy Point, Christmas Point, Pine Point, Partridge Point, Smokey Point, Stoney Point, Horseshoe Bay, Onigum and Whipholt.

Power for more than 1,300 members affected by the outage is expected to be restored by approximately 11:00 a.m.[[In-content Ad]]Lake Country Power appreciates members' understanding and patience as the cooperative works to maintain its distribution system, and improve reliability.
