Power outage planned near Boy River


Grand Rapids, MN - Lake Country Power members in the Boy River and surrounding areas will be without power starting 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19. The cooperative will be replacing a regulator in the Boy River Substation.

The outage will last 5 minutes and will affect members of Boy River, Federal Dam, most of the east side of Leech Lake, Big Boy Lake, Swift Lake, Kego Lake and Long Lake.[[In-content Ad]]Power for more than 800 members affected by the outage is expected to be restored by approximately 10:05 a.m.
