FEDERAL DAM - Organizers of Federal Dam Daze are busy finalizing plans for the day-long celebration set for Saturday July 31, in Federal Dam. Activities will begin at 7 a.m., and conclude at midnight.

Federal Dam Daze will feature a parade at noon. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes or trikes and ride in the parade. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. Organizers are looking for more float, bike and trike entries for the parade.

Other activities include a craft sale and flea market. Federal Dam Daze is looking for vendors of all kinds to participate in the events.

There will also be a horseshoe tournament, kids games, sumo wrestling, live music, a beer garden and the opportunity to make the Mayor of Federal Dam take a plunge in a dunk tank.

If participating in all the events revs up your hunger, there will be food galore to satisfy your hunger. Food scheduled to be offered during Federal Dam Daze include Indian tacos, pork chops, BBQ ribs, roasted corn on the cob, and Lou's egg rolls. Sweet treats will be available at the Bake Sale.
