Minnesota Percussion Trio to perform 'Clicks, Claps, and Clunk' at Longville Library
The Minnesota Percussion Trio has performed together since 1987. In that time, the Trio has performed in over 1000 schools, libraries, museums, and community fine arts series. At the core of MN Percussion Trio's artistic expression is their belief that music comes from the heart, and then you find something to play it on. The Trio makes use of everyday objects, a 5-gallon bucket, some old tin cans, spoons, and sheets of paper all become unlikely instruments in a fascinating "found percussion" program. Families of all ages will love this fun and educational journey into the world of contemporary percussion.[[In-content Ad]]The Trio performs in collaboration with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra's Start the Music Series, Xplorchestra music concerts and CONNECT programs.
