On Friday, June 17, Longville Lakes Clinic Health Fair will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The fair is open to the public with adults, children, and families encouraged to attend. This year's theme is Healthy Living.

Over 20 booths showcasing health related topics such as diabetes, breast health, and nutrition, veteran's services, weight loss surgery and heart health will be present.

Free screenings will be available for blood pressure, diabetes and hearing. Lipid profiles will be $15 to screen glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, and LDL. Fasting for eight hours prior to this test is required. The PSA test is for men over 50 years of age and is $10 with no fasting required.[[In-content Ad]]

As an added feature this year, North Memorial's air care helicopter plans to be on site along with the Longville area fire and rescue vehicles.

The event is hosted by Longville Lakes Clinic of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center.
