Longville Elementary finds a new owner

In a meeting held Wednesday evening at the Family Center in Longville, the Building and Grounds Committee of ISD #118 reviewed the proposals for the Longville Elementary School building and grounds.

Bids from GLACC, the Joint Powers entity of Kego Township and the City of Longville, and a bid from Patrick and Marilyn Tabaka were considered.

In a roll call vote after a motion made by Rusty Lilyquist and seconded by Tandy Kibbler; voting yes for Pat and Marilyn Tabaka's proposal for development of a new SuperValu store were: Ione Boor, Kibbler, David Kitchenhoff, Lilyquist; voting no; Bill Hansen Jr. and Dan Switzer.
