Since the Foundation's inception in 1992, through the help of donations and fund raising, the Foundation has had wonderful success enhancing the community. During the past year, the Foundation has made donations to: Longville Area Food Shelf, Camp Olson YMCA; Walker Area Pregnancy Support Center; Family Safety Network; Northland Community Schools band trip; Northland Area Family Service Center's archery and early childhood programs; the Longville Community Choir and Longville Lakes Arts Alliance.

Annual membership fee in the foundation is $50. These funds, along with contributions received are returned to the Longville area community to improve the quality of life for residents and the local area.

The goal of the Foundation for this year is to increase the Longville community's awareness and understanding of what the Longville Area Foundation is all about; and encourage everyone to be a supportive member. All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. The membership dues entitles the donor to become a "Trustee" of the organization, giving them the right to elect board members and give suggestions believed to help the foundation create a positive impact on the community.
