The Hackensack Chamber of Commerce along with local churches and businesses will again be hosting "The Children's Giving Tree" for Christmas this year. If you or someone you know are in need of gifts for Christmas, please call 218-675-5700 with the following information, or send information to: Christmas Giving Tree, P.O. Box 8, Hackensack, MN, 56452.

•First name of children along with their age (0 -15), and their gender.

•Wish list of items each child would like

•Clothing Sizes

All requests for this assistance have to be in by Monday - Nov 22. There are no specific qualifications for this program, but we ask that recipients of this "Giving Tree" not be on any other area lists, so all in our community and surrounding communities, who need help, can be helped.[[In-content Ad]]

Gift pick up day will be Saturday, December 18, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., at Kevin Larson Construction in Hackensack. If unable to pick up gifts at appointed time, call 218-675-5700 to make other arrangements. A reminder call will be given to all recipients the week before the pick up date.

This year "Giving Trees" will be located at: Hackensack Do It Best Lumber, Body Rhythms, Mark's Market, Swanson's Bait, Bear Pause Theater, and many churches, all in Hackensack.

Anyone wishing to make a monetary or toy donation can drop it off at any of the above mentioned businesses, Kevin Larson Construction, or call Sue at 218-675-5700, by December 10.

Every child deserves to have a Merry Christmas, please find it in your heart to help them have one.
