In an effort to "Pink this Town" this October, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and Central Lakes Medical Clinic in Crosby will host a free mammogram clinic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29 for women 40 years old and older.

This event is for women who do not have health insurance, have a high deductible or have not had a mammogram for several years. Mammograms can often find breast cancer before it can be felt and when it is combined with a clinical breast exam, the chances for finding breast cancer are even greater.

[[In-content Ad]]Services offered during the free clinic will include a digital mammogram, a clinical breast exam performed by a CLMC provider and a pap test if needed.

Women will have an opportunity to meet Erin Kennedy, Breast Health Care Coordinator for CRMC. Information will also be available on breast health and nutrition.
