VFW Post 772 will hold a flag retirement ceremony on Flag Day, Tuesday, June 14, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., at the Remer Depot. The public is invited to attend and bring flags for proper retirement.

Advanced drop off locations for worn or damaged flags are: Holter's Grocery, in Remer; and in Longville at the Longville Inn.

In Hackensack, American Legion Post #202 will hold an American flag retirement ceremony at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 11, in the Hackensack City Park. Last year Post 202 gave proper retirement to 377 flags.

Worn or damaged flags may be dropped off at the post or with any member of Post 202 prior to the retirement ceremony.[[In-content Ad]]
