Spring 2011 has brought changes to Faith in Action for Cass County (FIACC). The new FIACC Program Coordinator, Marie McNamara, brings heartfelt compassion to the volunteer program.

McNamara is a former volunteer for Lakes Area Interfaith Caregivers in Crow Wing County. She has worked as a Cass County Public Health Home Health Aide and assisted adults with disabilities through Access North. Most recently she worked with Lutheran Social Services Personal Support Services. McNamara is well acquainted with caregiver issues as she is caring for her father who is coping with memory loss. She lives near Pequot Lakes with her husband Brian, and they have three grown sons and a daughter-in-law who visit often.[[In-content Ad]]

Faith in Action for Cass County is a volunteer nonprofit organization that helps people in need in Cass County. When friends and family can't be there, volunteers can help with transportation, respite, friendly visiting, housekeeping, chores and small home repairs. The goal is to help people remain living independently in their own homes.
