Feeling stretched caring for a family member or friend? Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a class designed to provide you with the skills you need to take care of yourself as a caregiver and increase your confidence to provide care in difficult situations. Faith in Action for Cass County and Horizon Health Faith in Action will offer the six-week class on Mondays, beginning April 11th at 1:00 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Walker.

Theresa Eclov and Krisie Charnley, LSW, certified Powerful Tools class leaders, will share tools to help you reduce stress, improve self-confidence, balance your life, better communicate your feelings, increase ability to make decisions, and learn to locate helpful resources.

Class materials include The Caregiver Helpbook, specifically designed for this evidence-based course, funded in part through the Central MN Council on Aging.

Class-time care for your family member may be requested through Faith in Action respite services or Walker Adult Day Services at no cost.
