BOY RIVER - The Eagle Country Snowmobile/ATV Club grooms and maintains approximately 65 miles of trails in the Remer area. To help the club fund trail grooming and maintenance, a Poker Run will be held on Saturday, Feb. 26, starting and ending at Jerry's Bar in Boy River.

Sign up begins at 10 a.m. The first stop on the poker run will be L.J.'s, in Remer. After picking up a playing card there, the next leg of the run will take contestants to the Remer Muni. From there, the run will make a stop at The Pub. The longest leg of the run will be from The Pub to the Big Winnie Bar, in Bena. Next stop is Abe's, in Federal Dam, before returning to Boy River for a bonfire and chili.[[In-content Ad]]Cost of the run is $20 per person. The total purse will be split between the club and the best poker hand (best five out of six cards).

The poker run is open to anyone who wants to help the Eagle Country Snowmobile/ATV Club continue their efforts to keep and maintain the trails in the Remer Area.
