BOY RIVER - The Boy River Log Chapel will begin a new service schedule on Sunday January 2. Coffee Fellowship will begin at 9:30am in the Activity Center, followed by the morning worship service in the chapel at 10:00am. Children from age 2 through the 6th grade will be dismissed at about 10:40 for Sunday School, while the rest will remain in the chapel for the weekly sermon. "The new schedule will allow for a less rushed atmosphere in our worship service" said Pastor Dennis Gonczy. "It will enable us to incorporate some alternative forms of worship, such as testimonies, story telling, puppets and drama as well as special music ministries." The Boy River Log Chapel began as an outreach of Oak Hills Fellowship in the early 1930's and still meets in the Log building that was dedicated in 1932.
