Bi-County CAP board seeking members


Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. has openings on its Board of Directors for two low-income representatives, one from Cass County and one from Beltrami County. The term of office is three years.

The board members will be elected in April. The nomination process ends March 15, 2013. Low-income persons interested in serving on the Board of Directors are asked to please contact the Bemidji BI-CAP Office at 218-751-4631 or toll free at 1-800-332-7161, for an application and more information regarding this opportunity to serve.

The Board of Directors meets every other month. Its purpose is to adopt the overall policies of the agency, review grant applications and reports, establish agency goals and priorities, and monitor and evaluate agency operations.
