BACKUS - The 15th annual Backus Lions Fly-In pancake/sausage breakfast will be 7:30 a.m. to noon, on Sunday, July 25 at the Backus Airport.

Schedule permitting, the North Memorial Medivac helicopter will land at 11 a.m. A demonstration will be given with the "Jaws of Life" rescue apparatus on an old car. Besides enjoying breakfast, spectators can watch the planes land and take off, talk to firefighters and First Responders and look at a fire engine up close. Raffle tickets for several items will be sold.



The breakfast benefits the Backus Fire Department and First Responders. Cost is $5 in advance, $5 at the door and $3 for children younger than 12. Fly-in pilots eat free.



Advance tickets are available from Backus Lions members, Backus Fire Department members and First Responders. The Backus Lions Club and Air D, Inc. sponsor this event.
