HACKENSACK - Cass County authorities report a 19 year old Laport man apparently drowned when two boats collided in Ten Mile Lake shortly before midnight Friday.

The victim was ejected from the boat he was operating. His body was recovered from 20 feet of water by divers from the Lakes Area Dive Team.

Chief Deputy Tom Burch reports the cause of the collision remains under investigation with an autopsy scheduled. The victim's name is being temporarily withheld pending notification of relatives.[[In-content Ad]]
