The Margaret Welch Memorial Library of Longville will again be the recipient of funds raised at the Annual Bridge Benefit to be held at Patrick's Fine Dining on Monday, Aug. 30.

Last year over 140 individuals participated in the event which begins with registration at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m., with card playing following lunch.

Registration fee is $20, part of which covers lunch. Over 15 area bridge clubs have received invitations to the benefit, clubs from all over the North Central Minnesota area. Groups or individuals from Detroit Lakes to the west; and Duluth to the east have previously participated. Both duplicate bridge and social bridge will be played.

A silent auction and 50/50 drawing will take place at the benefit.. The 50/50 drawing gives individuals a chance to purchase raffle tickets for a predetermined amount. The winner will receive one-half of the money raised from the sale of the tickets. All proceeds from the entry fee, silent auction and 50/50 drawing will be donated to the Longville Library.
