3rd Annual P.T.L. Concert Fundraiser for Faith In Action August 20th
Four Plus One," a men's southern gospel ensemble, and other local talent
will be presented Friday, August 20th, at 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Evangelical
Free Church in Walker. This is a free concert, open to the public. A
free-will offering can be given at the door, with all proceeds going to
Faith In Action for Cass County to help people in need.
Calvary Four Plus One consists of four men, plus The Lord. For four years
now, the guys have worked together, singing and praising God through their
ministry of southern gospel music. Members of the group include Jeff Corn,
singing lead; Chet Kelm, tenor; Lynn Mineer, baritone; and Doug Pitt,
singing bass. Fulfilling a longtime dream, Doug Pitt got the guys together
to try a song or two and the music took off. They have performed at church
services, concerts, and various functions. The Calvary Four Plus One meets
weekly for practice and works hard at adding new songs to their library of
music. The results of their music ministry are both amazing and inspiring.

Bonk of Hackensack, Rilla Anderson of Pine River/Backus, and members of the
choir from Immanuel Lutheran School directed by Janna Kietzman. Also
appearing will be special guest, "Mitzie" Pearl, formerly of Nashville.
Faith in Action for Cass County is an interfaith volunteer caregiving
program. Americans who are aging or ill want to remain independent, in
their homes or at least in their communities, and prefer to remain out of
nursing homes and institutional care of any kind. Faith in Action programs
provide non-medical caregiving through volunteers making this independence
possible. Transportation, chore, respite, friendly visiting, and ramp
building help are available. Services provided by Faith in Action are made
possible by your community support through financial donations as well as
the many volunteers.
For more information about the P.T.L. Concert contact Faith in Action at

Remember, your contributions go directly to support someone's independence.
Please come and enjoy. Community support of Faith in Action is greatly
appreciated.
