State Hwy. 200 construction update

MNDOT reports that the construction is going as planned. The west box culvert near the west County Road 124 has been installed and is covered with gravel. Construction began on the east box culvert location on Cedar Creek (east of Whipholt) on Saturday. The was shifted to that location, with no through traffic. This culvert location is east of 6th Ave NW and west of Prarie Drive NW. The official detour will remain in place. At this time, it is anticipated that the construction of the Cedar Creek box culvert will be completed by Monday, August 9th. The detour is State 84 to Cass County 5 to State 371. Again, there will be no thru traffic over the culvert areas during replacement. Also please be aware of and respect the speed limits in the residential areas of County Road #5. Photo submitted.
