Labor Day Weekend traditions continue Boy River Hobo Day this Saturday, Sept. 4
The annual Boy River Hobo Day returns this Saturday, September 4. It’s time to dig out your knapsack and hop the train over to Boy River for the celebration. The festivities begin at 9 a.m. with events happening all day long.
Beginning at 9 a.m. will be the Trap Shoot and Flea Market. At noon, the Hobo Day Parade leaves the station.
Delicious Hobo Stew gets served at 12:30 p.m. along with “minnow shots.” Beginning at 1:30 p.m., test your arm at the bean bag competition. After you’ve worked up an appetite, try a scrumptious pie from the Pie Auction taking place at 3 p.m. Karaoke will also begin at 3 p.m. under the gazebo.
All day take advantage of mug, sweatshirt, button, coozies and t-shirt sales.
Follow the tracks to Boy River Saturday for fun festivities. Hobo Day is sponsored by the Boy River Hobo Club.
