   Your favorite flannel outfit keeps you warm, but now it can be worn to warm the hearts of others.

   Union Congregational Church in Hackensack is hosting a Frost and Flannel Dinner and a Show on Friday, Jan. 16, from 5-6:30 p.m. All funds raised from the free-will donation go toward Union’s ongoing commitment to serving the community. Wear some flannel for a chance at a best-dressed prize.

   Mama Wags and Larry Kimball will be providing music. The home-cooked gourmet meal includes smoky-sweet chipotle chicken, turmeric rice, salad, cheesecake bars and wine. A silent auction and a bake sale are also part of the fundraising events.

   Union Congregational Church is located at 401 Lake Street in Hackensack. All are welcome, and the church thanks you in advance for any donation you can offer.
