New Parkinson’s Support Group Launches in Grand Rapids
Individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s Disease now have a new place to connect, learn, and find encouragement. A new monthly Parkinson’s Support Group is launching to provide education, resources, and a welcoming community for those living with the disease and those caring for loved ones.
Hosted by ElderCircle, the support group is free and open to the public meeting on the first Tuesday of every month from 1 - 2 p.m. at Suite #124 inside Central Square Mall (201 NW 4th Street, Grand Rapids, MN).
Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Share success stories
• Discuss challenges and concerns associated with Parkinson’s Disease
• Access free resources for families and individuals
• Explore support options for caregivers assisting loved ones of any age who are unable to fully care for themselves
• Discover helpful tools and information for all aspects of care and daily living
Organizers hope the group will foster meaningful connections and create a strong, supportive network within the community.
“Together, we can share experiences, offer support, and build a strong community,” organizers said.
