   The first of Longville’s four Blood Drives, sponsored by the Longville Lions, will be held at St. Edward’s Catholic Church on Friday, March 20 from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. We invite everyone to join us as a donor. Vitalant, the organization that we work with and that serves over 70 hospitals in our region, advises us that many people who have not been able to donate in the past because of  travel issues, medication and illnesses are now eligible. The cadre of loyal donors that we have, can testify to the professionalism of the technicians that Vitalant sends us for the drive. They are well trained, efficient and enjoyable. We see the experience as a community social event and we believe our donors feel very good about being able to donate. Call or text if you have questions and/or want to donate.
